Yukon Quest Start Line Volunteering

Looking for an exciting way to give back while experiencing one of Alaska's most iconic events? Join us as a volunteer for the Yukon Quest Alaska, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the tradition of long-distance mushing. This thrilling event showcases the endurance of both the sled dogs and mushers as they tackle hundreds of miles of challenging terrain in Arctic conditions.
The start takes place right here in Fairbanks!

Volunteers will help with crowd control, parking, ensuring mushers get to the start line on time, and assisting with spot trackers. Volunteering takes place from 10 AM to approximately 4 PM on Saturday, February 1st, behind the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center. Be part of the action and support this historic race—sign up today!
