Join UAF’s Alternative Spring Break 2026 and spend your spring break making a real difference. This year, our team is traveling to Lakeland, Florida, a community still working to rebuild after the devastating impacts of Hurricane Milton in 2024. Throughout the week, participants will roll up their sleeves for hands-on service, engaging in manual labor, demolition work, and other essential projects that support long-term community recovery.
And as an added bonus, we’ll be serving in sunny, warm central Florida, only a short drive from Orlando.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back, learn new skills, and connect with fellow students and community members, this is your opportunity.
