Polar Grizz: Bearding Competition

ORCA invites all UAF community members, regardless of facial hair, to join us for the 2024 Polar Grizz's Bearding Competition in honor of Men's Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Month. We use this competition to celebrate healthy masculinity while raising awareness about the issues men and masculine-presenting individuals face.

Bearding is the sport of growing, grooming and presenting one's facial hair. Contestants can compete in one of four categories: moustache, partial beard, full beard, and creative. Judges will rate the contestants based on their presentation with the judges selecting a winner from each category. The category winner will then compete for the title of "2024 Polar Grizz Champion" based on popular vote. For a full list of rules and judging standards, please review the attached forms.
