Dr. Amy Lauren Lovecraft will present a lecture followed by a Q&A session about the upcoming national election and its consequences for the State of Alaska. The lecture will cover the constitutional grounding of the U.S. Presidency, the development of politics that led us into the last two decades, the nature of the presidency since 2016, and then we peer into the crystal ball for discussion of possible outcomes in November.
