Join us as we launch Race to Zero Waste, a friendly intercollegiate competition focused on reducing landfill waste and increasing recycling and composting. Colleges and universities across the U.S. will track their progress as we work together to move our campus closer to a zero-waste future.

Alongside the competition, the Office of Sustainability is excited to kick off Caught Green Handed — a program that celebrates sustainability in action. This initiative recognizes and rewards individuals who go above and beyond to make eco-friendly choices, whether that’s reducing waste, saving energy, or inspiring others.

Throughout February and March, students, faculty, and staff across campus will be “caught green handed” by sustainability ambassadors who will hand out green tickets to people they see practicing sustainability. Each ticket enters you into prize drawings — so keep making those green choices!
