Student Commencement Speaker Nomination

ASUAF invites students, faculty and staff to nominate graduating students to be the student speaker at UAF's spring Commencement ceremony on May 3, 2025. The deadline for nominations is Monday, March 3, 2024.

Eligibility
Candidates for student commencement speaker must have applied for graduation for spring or summer 2025 or have graduated in fall 2024. Candidates must also be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) and in good conduct standing with UAF.

The Student Commencement Speaker Selection Committee will verify eligibility and confirm that nominated students accept their nomination. If you have questions, please contact the ASUAF Office at asuaf.office@alaska.edu or 907-474-5153.
